Quote of the moment

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

Describe Feelings Unknown

Feeling that have never been
Something they never have felt
Something they must feel again

How can one feel worthy
When all their life it has been denied
And suddenly it is there
When two spirits collide

Something more than love
A feeling that overwhelms
Like a ship without control
Without anyone at the helm

Set sail on the sea of life
With only fate as a guide
Not adrift, not lost or mislead
But also not in control of the ride

Doing their best to enjoy
Something they never expected to see
A joy outside their hopes
But something they now know must be.

And never will it be refused
Never will it be unwelcome
Not once to be unappreciated
And all it could in time become.
