Quote of the moment

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

*Enjoy The Show

(Adaptation from Sgt. Pepper)

I'm a simply a lonely Gooseman
But I hope you have enjoyed the show.
We've had fun at times but the time has come
To say I'm sorry but I've got to go.

I'd like to thank some of you once again
Just for being my friend.
Most things can't last forever though,
And now it's getting very near the end.

I may be by, from time to time,
Maybe share a joke or a rhyme.
And when I stop by, or when ever you can
Don't hesitate to say hi to the one and only Gooseman.

This was written on spur of the moment in one of the phases of less than pleasant life and health changes.
