Look into my eyes
You will see no lies
Always and only truth
Faith without need of proof
Will to do anything to try to make
Whatever cost it may take

I make promises a sacred vow
For all the future, not just now
To attempt to make fate come true
To never give up on me and you
For that I have paid a heavy price
I would do it again, do it twice
It is my choice, my path to follow
Even if it is a bitter pill to swallow

The days filled with crushing song
Often seems torment is all I can feel
As layers of life continue to peel

The truth for which past dreams have died
